Biological Surveys under EPA 316(b) Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency is due to finalize its 316(b) regulations by July 27, 2012. These regulations are intended to significantly reduce the amount of aquatic fauna killed by cooling water intake at power plants and industrial facilities. Zara Environmental can assist clients with upstream fauna surveys, mortality monitoring, and fish return system effectiveness. Our aquatic specialties include mussels, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes. We will provide needed NEPA documentation and develop monitoring protocols. For more information contact: Barrett Clarke
