Wendy Dickerson

Wendy joined the Zara family in September 2014. She is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst with concurrent experience in document creation, technical editing, and environmental data collection. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography with an Environmental Science emphasis from Texas A&M University, College Station. While working for the Texas Association of Counties in Austin, Texas, she authored original articles that highlighted the utility of GIS analysis and cartography in demographic data analysis. Wendy also worked for the USDA-ARS National Sedimentation Laboratory and US Forest Service’s Forest Hydrology Laboratory (both in Oxford, Mississippi) gaining multiple years of experience in environmental data collection, field data analysis, map creation, database management, and technical writing. She has co-authored peer reviewed scientific publications, with contributions in the areas of data collection and analysis, creation of diagrams, illustrations and maps, and technical editing. Wendy has also worked for Texas A&M University’s Administrative GIS Department where she was responsible for the maintenance of an accurate and attractive campus base map.
