Water Quality & Stream Flow

Zara staff have participated in and coordinated many water quality monitoring/watershed assessment projects. We understand how to design water quality studies to meet a wide range of clients needs including flow and climate triggered sampling. Zara staff is also well versed in proper sampling site selection, sampling procedures, sample preservation, chain of custody/documentation considerations, and interpretation of laboratory results. We also have extensive experience monitoring stream flow with handheld and pull-behind Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs), which can be used for stream bottom profiling and gain/loss studies. We can install and maintain continuous flow monitors, water quality sondes, and automatic samplers.
