The Oakland Museum of California is opening a new exhibit  “A Walk in the Wild: Continuing John Muir’s Journey.” Jean Krejca is being honored Saturday August 6, 2011 as a modern day Muir!  The exhibit honors John Muir for his contribution to environmental stewardship and highlights those who have followed in his footsteps. This award is being bestowed for her work as an environmental steward in California. From her research at Yosemite National Park, a new species of troglobitic pseudoscorpion was discovered. I like how you included a video clip on your blog. It makes your posts more vivid and I am sure that it helped in catching the attention of your audience. It is also nice to know that Oakland Museum of California opened the new exhibit honoring John Muir. I admire Muir's courage and perseverance.
